BBA COURSE:

BACHAELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINSTRATION (BBA) is a full-time three year degree course spread over six semesters. The students can opt for specialization in the final year in any one of the areas like Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management. The graduates are prepared to peruse post –Graduation courses like MBA, MCA, M Com and other professional courses charted Accountant, Certified Financial Analyst, Company Secretary and Cost and Work Accountants. There are two compulsory In-plant training of 30 days duration, first at the end of third semester and fourth semester, respectively.

BBA graduates obtain business administration job positions in manufacturing, retailing, construction, financial institutions, government and a host for other fields. BBA at J T College

BBA at J T College was established in the academic year to impart quality management education with the blend of theoretical and practical exposure to both rural and urban students. The college ensures that the students get adequate practices exposure towards business practice through regular interaction with Entrepreneurs, industrialist, and businessmen. The college is affiliated to Karnataka University, Dharwad and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka. The course is employee oriented designed to help the graduates to start their own business ventures.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lecture method, Interactive session, Presentation, case Analysis, group Discussions, Seminar, Google Classrooms, Zoom classrooms Power Point Presentations etc, Remedial teaching is taken for academically weak students. This has improved our results to a great extent. LCD and interactive white Board are used regularly.

  • Executive interactions: Well known Industrialists, Management Consultants and managers from various companies share their experience with students, which give the students valuable insights into the world of business.
  • Industrial Visits: Students regularly visit to companies to get a firsthand experience of business.
  • Management Fests: Students are encouraged to participate in management fest and games conducted by different management colleges. This makes them all self confident and competitive.
  • Seminars/ Workshops: Seminars and workshops are conducted on a regular basis. Students are encouraged to present papers in seminars conducted by other colleges. This helps then to acquire more insight and knowledge in the subjects.
